Well, all of the critters are doing good here. Henry is finally starting to come around to me. He's letting me rub his forehead and he'll touch my hand when I offer it to him. Benjamin's about the same, as much trouble as ever.
Borie decided to rearrange the tack room the other day. I wasn't home when it happened, but apparently she reached in and unhooked every bridle, hackamore, halter, etc and piled it in the middle of the floor along with all the saddles and pads. Such a helpful horse. And that's why I love her.
I've also been doing some scheming. As soon as it gets warm I plan on ordering a bunch of silkie bantam chickens. But I only want to keep three. And since they're bantams (miniature), I want a little tiny coop for them, so I'm trying to design that too. It's taking some thought! But I can't even order the little guys until it gets warm... *sigh* ... so it's going to be a while yet. And when I get them, they are going to have some fabulous names. I'm thinking like:
-King George,
-Fredrick Von Fredrick,
-Alfred the Great,
-Sir Harold the Magnificent, or
-Richard the Lion-Hearted.
Ya know, just the basics. If they're hens, well, then Queen Elizabeth or Princess Mary, something along those lines. Oh and here's a picture of what silkie bantams are supposed to look like.

Anywho... not really a whole ton has happened lately. I got a few neat pictures, did some editing, did a photo shoot for the Reindeer Farm. House sat last weekend. Yeah. So, life's life.
BUT, I did make a decision the other day. When this year started I didn't really have the best mood I could about it. However, I have decided to change that. I figure, I can make this year however I want it to be and it's my choice, not that of those around me. Who cares what they think or what their outlook is? This is my year! So, it's going to be amazing. Plus, while I was thinking about it... this is going to be my last summer as a high schooler. How scary is that?! So, obviously, I have to make it the best. Just amazing.
Wellsies, that's just about all that I got. Here's a scripture that I found that made me laugh. And it gave me a new outlook on trials!
"And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good." -Doctrine & Covenants 122:7
